Description
MTM Hydro's Brass Quick Couplers are great for quickly disconnecting hose lines, spray guns, and many other pressure washing attachments. Items such as lances, tips, and foam cannons can be quickly transitioned for an expedited cleaning experience. MTM brass is of the highest quality available but even our fittings will show signs of discoloration after a few months of consistent use. For higher PSI ratings and anti-corrosion options, check out our Stainless Steel line of fittings.
MTM Hydro Couplers are offered in a variety of sizes to accommodate the multitude of industries and attachments available. Keep in mind, though, couplers can only receive like-sized plugs; i.e. 1/4" Coupler must be paired with a 1/4" Plug.
Don't forget, "Male" and "Female" only refer to exposed NPT or BSP threads. An easy rule of thumb is that if you can see the threads, it's Male, don't over think it!
I have had 4 of these for a few years. I got them as a gift and put them in my cabinet of various towels. I have way too many drying, polishing, etc towels. I just pulled one out the other day to dry the truck after a mid winter wash. Wow, very impressed. I have many excellent drying towels from a few different vendors. These Rag Co. drying towels are in my top shelf of go to towels. Excellent for drinking up a considerable amount of water before squeezing them out. I did not wash it first and I think you should, but it didn't seem to affect the performance. From a professional "home" detailer, these are an excellent choice.
