Lake Country HDO Light Cutting One Step Pad (OPS) with Orange Interface 5.5” (5.5" diameter x 1/2" thickness) is a microfiber pad designed for use with Long Throw polishers specifically. The heavy duty orbital (HDO) line was created to offer more durable and performance enhancing characteristics. The dual layer design allows these pads to capture all the benefits that come with not only a tapered pad, like anti-roll and backing plate protection, but the benefits of even compression like an exact fit pad. It features the benefits of a thin pad, such as increased power and reduced pad motion, while still retaining the proper weight and balance for proper rotation.

The HDO® line consists of a heavy cutting fiber pad and light cutting one step fiber pad along with a variety of foam pads to dial in your polishing process.

Feature and Benefits:

Tapered Edge: prevents pad rolling and provides great pad rotation. Great for curved and contoured panels. Allows for precision polishing in tight areas.

Center Ventilated Cooling Channel: dissipates heat away from the center of the pad, reducing temperatures and increasing durability. The system also allows for perfect pad alignment.

Stay Cool: HDO pads block heat transfer between layers and offer the same benefits of a thin pad (maximizing the power of the polisher by reducing foam movement or “absorption”). Along with the benefits of a thin pad, the design and shape offer proper weight and weight distribution for maximum performance.

Shape & Design: design offers even pressure distribution like an exact fit pad, but shape/profile offers the precision and safety of a tapered pad.
