3M Trizact Abrasives used in paint defect removal and refinement help reduce compounding and buffing time. They consist of precisely-shaped three-dimensional pyramids distributed uniformly over the surface of the disc. As these pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is constantly exposed to the work piece, resulting in faster, more consistent performance cutting throughout the life of the discs. 3M Trizact Discs & Sheets allow you to have more consistent finishes with better cut, finish, and a longer life. Using a 3M Trizact Hookit Foam 1000, 1500, 3000, 5000 and 8000 grade discs will reduce your buffing time and eliminate the need for a wool compounding pad, making the job easier and faster than the traditional process!

This product is terrible, followed the instructions to apply it. Washed the car once since it was applied and caught in a rain storm today it performed so poorly, it didn't make a difference at all. I've had better results and length of use with Rain-X. Glassparency has only been on my windshield for 1 month I expected better results.
